BASE BID ITEM: Provide all materials, equipment and labor to perform miscellaneous demolition and construction work at Warehouse Building 4809 as follows: provide new bathrooms and janitor closet; new firewall and accessible fire-rated corridors and exit door; new interior finishes; revision of existing fire sprinkler system; new mechanical HVAC equipment and ductwork; new electrical panel and lighting fixtures; addition to fire alarm system; and miscellaneous other minor work as described in the plans and specs. BID OPTION NO. 1: Provide all materials, equipment and labor to perform miscellaneous demolition and construction work at Warehouse Building 4832 as follows: install new insulated roll-up door and thermal pane windows; new bathrooms and janitor closet; new accessible fire-rated corridors and exit door; new interior finishes; revision of existing fire sprinkler system; new mechanical HVAC equipment and ductwork; newlighting fixtures; addition to fire alarm system; and miscellaneous other minor work as described in the plans and specs. BID OPTION NO. 2: Provide all materials, equipment and labor to perform miscellaneous demolition and construction work at Warehouse Building 4837 as follows: provide new building potable water service and asphalt patch; new concrete slab joint filler; and repair of existing fire water riser. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $500k -- 1 million and the effort shall be completed within 150 calendar days after notice to proceed. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1541 and $17.0 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB/RFO is on or about February 18, 1998 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about March 19, 1998.
