A five year, firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract is contemplated. The first year ordering quantity is 274 each, the estimated ordering quantity for the second through the fifth year is 120 each. Initial delivery with First Article Testing will be 56 each by 450 days after award, with subsequent monthly deliveries of 100 each, FOB destination to Texarkana, Texas. Initial delivery without First Article Testing will be 56 each by 300 days after award, with subsequent monthly deliveries of 100 each. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Only approved sources who have successfully completed the required engineering test will be considered for award of this flight safety part. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List (CASL) procedures. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings. Acquisition is restricted to only approved and tested sources, AlliedSignal Incorporated, AlliedSignal Engines, 111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034 (99193) and Smiths Industries Aerospace, Civil Systems UK-Basingstoke, Winchester Rd, Basingstoke, Hants, RGZZ 6HP (U2777).
