The synopsis/solicitation is modified as follows: NOTE: The first item, LIQUID HELIUM, has been determined to be a "MAJOR HELIUM REQUIREMENT" in accordance with the Helium Privatization Act and FAR 8.501. Only "Bureau Helium Distributors" as defined at FAR 8.501 that can meet the requirements of this synopsis/solicitation shall be eligible for award of the first item under this combined synopsis/solicitation. The Government reserves the right to make separate awards for the first item and the second item if doing so would provide the best value to the Government FAR Clause 52.208-8, "HELIUM REQUIREMENT FORECAST AND REQUIRED SOURCES FOR HELIUM" is incorporated herein by reference.
