A -- LARGE SCALE VEHICLE OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, ACOUSTIC DATA ACQUISITION, ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division has a requirement for continuation of services currently being provided under contracts N00167-93-D-0026 and N00167-94-D-0010 to support Advanced Submarine Research and Development at the Acoustic Research Detachment, Bayview, Idaho. The general scope of work falls under the following categories: 1) Operations and Maintenance of Large Submarine Models, 2) Test Support, 3) Instrumentation Support, 4) Engineering Design/Systems Development, 5) Data Acquisition, Processing and Analysis, 6) Facilities and test fixtures and 7) Special studies and analyses. This support is at the Acoustic Research Detachment, located on Lake Pend Orielle, Bayview, Idaho, which conducts R&D testing of plarform, radiated and structure borne noise on large scale models and other test hardware. The contract period of performance is five years. A Department of defense security clearance to the DOD SECRET level will be required for all personnel. The SIC code for this procurement is 8711 with a size standard of $13.5M.
