The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Office
of Foreign Disaster Assistance (BHR/OFDA), is seeking applications for
a two year grant from qualifying U.S. organizations who are officially
registered with USAID as a private and voluntary organization, and are
registered and authorized to work in the government controlled areas of
Sudan. This grant will fund a program for providing basic primary
health care program in the Greater Khartoum Area of Sudan. Basic health
care is defined as Provision of Critical Health Services; Water; and
Sanitation. Subject to the availability of funds, USAID intends to
provide a life-of-activity funding level not to exceed $3 million, to
be allocated over two years. USAID may make one or more awards from
this RFA. No fee is allowable and no fee will be paid under this grant.
The RFA will provide the final information on the closing date. The
preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is
via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk
(WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format). This CBD notice can be viewed and
