TRAINING PRODUCTS -- NOTICE OF DRAFT RFP TRADOC Contracting Activity, ATTN: ATCA (R. Kepley), Building 2798, Fort Eustis, Virginia 23604-5538 intends to solicit for training products for the U.S. Army Training Support Command. The contractor shall design, develop, manage, and deliver training products on a delivery order basis. Work under this contract shall include provisions for analysis of training requirements to insure that the materials are developed and presented in accordance with the latest technologies. The estimated magnitude of this contract is in excess of $100 million. Anticipated contract type: Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract(s) with Firm Fixed Price Delivery Orders. The acquisition strategy has not been determined as to single or multiple awards or any set-aside considerations. The information and industry comments gained from this DRAFT RFP will be used by the Government in determining acquisition strategy. The anticipated release date of the official RFP is June 1998 with contract award in December 1998. The contract performance period will be starting 7 Feb 1999 or date of award, whichever is later, through a 12 month period, with four 12-month options. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7379; size standard of $18.0 mil. This is not an RFP, a promise to issue an RFP, nor will the government pay for any information received in response to this draft RFP.
