Description: Provide lodging for the following exercise: Joint Combat Search and Rescue (JCSAR) Field Test 3 for the period of 1 Jun -- 15 Jun 98. The requirement is for 305 double occupancy rooms for a period of 14 calendar days for a total of 4,263 room nights. Lodging facilities must be within 20 miles of Geiger Field and there shall be dining facilities within one half mile of the hotel/motel premise. Offerors will bid on a minimum of 30 double occupancy rooms for a period of 14 calendar days for a total of 420 room nights. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-98-Q0189) is issued as a Request for Quotation. This procurement is unrestricted, utilizing the size standard in FAR 19 under Standard Industrial Code 7011. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32.
