The International Trade Administration, (ITA), requires fifteen (15) hotel accommodations and meeting space for participants attending the Mid-Level Training, in Washington, D.C., on July 5 through July 24, 1998 (twenty days). The exact number of participants needing accommodations and their arrival date will be provided no later than June 20, 1998, or sooner. The following specifications are required: (1) must be no more than twenty (20) minutes commuting time from Department of Commerce, 14th & Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, D.C. 20230, (2) three blocks or less from a Metro subway stop, (3) sleeping rooms with a full kitchenette (due to the length of the stay, many of the foreign nationals prefer to prepare their own food), (4) a fitness center, (5) smoke detectors in each room, (6) restaurant on-site, (7) conference space to seat 30 participants in an U-shape will be needed for each day, Monday through Friday, and (8) provide audio visual equipment and services, a television monitor with VCR for three days, an overhead projector with large screen for fourteen (14) days, and must provide two flip chart stands with paper for each day, Monday through Friday.
