The construction project will consist of installing a boiler feed system, water treatment system, and conncetions to existing steam, electric, natural gas, water and condensate systems in a multi-shop facility. The estimated construction cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1711. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price construction contract. The awarded contractor shall furnish one of the selected alternate payment protections prior to receiving the notice to proceed (NTP). This solicitation is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All interested, capable and responsible contractors are requested to send a WRITTEN request for bid package on company letterhead no later than13 March 1998. A one time site visit is scheduled on Wednesday, february 18, 1998 at teh Delaware Air National Guard Base in the Base Civil Engineers building 2803.
