S -- ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM SOL CBD002-8035-0002 POC Contract Specialist Linda Savage (918) 421-3390 (Site Code DAAA31) The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), located 10 miles west of McAlester, OK, seeks to identify potential electricity providers that would have an interest in taking ownership of the electrical distribution system located within the boundaries of the installation. Ultimately MCAAP is seeking total divestiture of the installation's electrical distribution system to the non-federal sector. The new owner (herein referred to as Service Provider) would assume full responsibility for maintaining the installation's sub-station and distribution system so that a reliable supply of electricity can be transported to each MCAAP consumption point on the installation. The service provider would also be responsible for all capital investments to maintain, improve, and extend MCAAP's electrical distribution system and sub-station. The Service Provider would purchase the existing system at a fair market price.
