Fabrication of three cylindrical subsurface buoys and 50 cable floats that are part of a vertical acoustic array to be installed in a water depth of 5,000 meters. The subsurface buoys required have a 4.0 foot outside diameter and are 4.6 feet tall. The buoys are syntactic foam having a density of 21 lbs/cu. ft. The 50 cable floats will be sized for a 1.3 inch outside diameter cable and require a quick latching mechanism that can insure installation in minimal time.
