A five year, firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity
contract is contemplated. The first year ordering quantity is 423
each, the estimated ordering quantity for the second year is 82 each,
the third year is 81 each, the fourth year is 91 each and the fifth
year is 52 each. FOB Destination to Texarkana, Texas. All offerors must
meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award.
Only approved source(s) who have successfully completed the required
engineering test will be considered for award of this flight safety
part. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete
for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in
accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List (CASL)
procedures. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the
Government does not own specifications or drawings. Acquisition is
restricted to only approved and tested sources, Allied Signal
Incorporated, Allied Signal Engines, 111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ
85034 (99193) and Smith Industries Aerospace, Civil Systems
UK-Basingstoke, Winchester Road, Basingstoke, Hants, RGZZ 6HP (U2777).
Authority and justification is FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources
are encouraged to submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the
