The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Research & Development contract for a single, Stimulus Hardware Emulator for Consolidated Automated Support Systems (CASS). NAVAIR intends to determine the feasibility of replacing the following CASS stimulus instruments: Pulse Generator, (PGEN), Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWFG), Synchro Generator, 40 GHz Synthesizer, High Power Synthesizer, Fast Switching Synthesizer, and Spread Spectrum Modulators/Demodulations (SSMD), 0 -- 450 VDC output, 1-135 VAC output from 0-2400 Hz with a single digital to analog converter based Stimulus Hardware Emulator. Interested parties shall submit competitive proposals to produce a proof-of-concept brassboard model (prototype) and technical/progress reports. The Stimulus Hardware Emulator may be incorporated into a new CASS configuration.
