Location: Robins AFB GA. c. Description: Work includes the production of designs, plans, drawings, estimates, and specifications for maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects. The Indefinite Delivery Contract will have a maximum of $750,000 in A-E fees, with a minimum of $5,000 guaranteed, against which individual delivery orders of up to $299,000 may be written. The contract period is for twelve months. The government may at its option renew the contract for an additional four years upon completion of the initial twelve month period. The contract is primarily for mechanical and electrical design services to include, but is not limited to, the following: (1) lighting and power distribution systems; (2) heating and air conditioning systems; (3) removal of asbestos materials; (4) central steam and chilled water distribution systems; (5) natural gas distribution systems; (5) lead paint removal; (6) construction, alteration, or repair of grounds, roads, buildings, and structures. d. Factors on eligibility for consideration: (1) Geographical Area: Southeastern U.S. (2) Firm Size: Firms considered small businesses and designated 8a qualified will be eligible for consideration under this announcement. (3) Other: (a) Firms with Intergraph CADD capability and those with other CADD systems and inexpensive and accurate translators will receive special consideration. (b) The Government may at its option negotiate with the firm selected at a later date for services to inspect the project and provide as-built drawings. e. Estimated Start Date: June 98. f. Estimated Award Cutoff Date: June 99. g.
