Pomraning (410) 605-7156 The VA Maryland Health Care System, 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, is seeking a contractor to provide a computerized "bed-tracking" system for the status of beds at the medical center. This telephone-to-computer system should automatically inform various medical center departments when a bed needs housekeeping service, maintenance, meals, is occupied or available. Interested parties must request in writing from the Contracting Officer, RFP 512(B)-51-98. No telephonic or fax requests will be accepted. The request must include the full address, point of contact, and telephone and fax numbers of interested party. Bid package will be available on or about February 27, 1998. Technical proposals will be required in both written and oral presentations. The written proposal must be submitted by the closing date for receipt of proposals. The oral presentation will be scheduled with offerors as soon as possible after the closing date for receipt of proposals.
