The primary area of performance will be in the state of New Mexico and surrounding area. However, surveying services may be required in the Grand Junction, Colorado, and Provo, Utah area or elsewhere within the boundaries of the Upper Colorado Region. Surveying services required will include right-of-way and boundary surveys; collimation, embankment settlement, landslide, and structural surveys for dams; construction surveys including layout, slope staking. and structure check-outs; topographic surveys including preparation of maps, existing structure surveys; river cross-sectioning; and establishing horizontal and vertical control. If the contractor does not hold a professional surveyor's license for the states within the Upper Colorado Region, he must then have the capability to obtain reputable, licensed sub-contractors to perform the work. The periodof performance for this contract shall be for 1 basic performance year with 4 option years, not to exceed a total of 5 years. REQUESTS MUST BE IN WRITING!
