Period of Performance is approx. 120 days. Four one-year options may be awarded. SIC 1542, SIZE STANDARD $17.0M. Install Chillers, Facility 10840. Installation of two 1400 ton chillers (CFP), associated piping, pumps and controls. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. See numbered note: Note 65. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. There are 28 pages of the solicitation, 150 pages of specifications and 8 drawings. 5. One hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review in Building 260, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. 6. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addendum's that may be issued to the solicitation. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation for bid opening. Bids will be publicly opened. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time bids are due. 8. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. Bids prepared by Debarred, Suspended or otherwise ineligible contractors are at the risk and expense of the contractor. "Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
