The work includes furnishing all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform the grounds and flower bed maintenance such as field mowing (twice this Year), grass cutting, edging, trimming, weeding, sweeping grass clippings off walkways, removal of tree branches, and raking/disposing of clippings/leaves on a set scheduled basis at designated areas of Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, MA, including Otis Memorial Park, and (5) USCG housing sign beds. Work delays due to inclement weather shall be performed on the following day. The work shall be performed during the period from 20 April 1998 through 30 September 1998. The first cut of all areas shall begin on 20 April 1998 and the last cut shall begin on 21 September 1998. The Contractor shall have 5 calendar days to complete each cut in all areas from start dates. Maintainance of the five housing signs (including all flowerbeds) shall be completed every 30 days. The eleven areas and five housing signs will be maintained as indicated in drawings and Tech. Exibits with additional planting of TULIP and DAYLILLY flower bulbs. There is approximately 160 acres to be mowed and approximately 1 acre of flower bed maintenance. When offering quotes, the Offerors shall submit a line item price per cut for each area and a total price. Additionally, the Offerors shall breakdown their price quotes based on labor, and equipment. The specified work will be done at USCG Air Station Cape Cod, Air Station Cape Cod, MA 02542-5024. The SIC code is 0782. Contract commencement and completion dates shall be established at the Pre-Construction meeting.
