This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a Request for Quote(RFQ), number DAAH01-98-T-0455. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. This solicitation is sole source, restricted to Will-Burt Corporation, 169 Main Street, Orrville, OH 44667-0900. The requirement is as follows: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, two (2) each, Pneumatic Telescoping Mast Assembly, Part Number TMD-7-42-368, per specification sheet 202, with external mounting bracket, black hardlube mast finish, base tube and collars prepared for painting, external wiper bumpers and set of roof mounting hardware; CLIN 0002, two (2) each, 24 Volt Direct Current (VDC) Pneumatic System with tank, Part Number C-271-24VDC, per sheet 301; CLIN 0003, two (2) each, One inch inside diameter (1" ID) Nycoil Cable Conduit 70 feet length, Part Number 900444; CLIN 0004, two (2) each, Installation of customer cables in Nycoil. Option CLINs 0005 through 0008 are incorporated into the RFQ for a quantity of one (1) to four (4) each of the preceding items, to be exercised from time of award through 30 Sep 98. Required delivery is 12 weeks after award, to Redstone Arsenal, AL; inspection, acceptance and FOB are Destination.
