Carney (Site Code W31XNJ) Project includes Base year plus (1) year option to provide and delivery Asphalt Concrete "E" Mix and Bituminous Tack Coat material for U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Allatoona Lake, Cartersville, Georgia. Asphalt Concrete "E" Mix shall conform to section 828.20, and the Bituminous Tack Coat material shall conform to Section 413 and Section 828.03 of the Georgia Department of Transportation Specifications, 1983 Edition. Asphalt Concrete shall be delivered in trucks regularly used for the purpose and equipped for dumping in a 180 Blaw Knox or similar type spreader. After loading at the plant the asphalt concrete will be covered with a tarpaulin until unloaded. Asphalt Concrete will be delivered to the job site at 300 degrees Fahrenheit plus or minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit. maximum contract value for the Base year is estimated at 7,500 tons and 7,500 tons for (1) year option.
