W -- LEASE OF INTERIM DOMESTIC DEPENDENT ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS (DDESS), ANDERSEN AFB, GUAM SOL F64133-98-R0009 DUE 032698 POC Contract Buyer -- TSgt Budy, (671) 366-2358, Contracting Officer -- Charles Melvin (671)366-6601 Proposals are being solicited to perform Lease of Interim Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) at Andersen AFB, Guam. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price type contract with the successful contractor furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform lease services. This work includes but is not limited to installation and leasing of a relocatable concrete elementary school, middle school, and school cafeteria. Performance will cover a 12-month basic period plus four option year periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 Feb 98 with proposals due on or about 26 Mar 98. This acquisition is unrestricted. Award of a contract will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the government. Best value will be determined based on an integrated assessment of each proposal in terms of price, experience, past performance, and performance period necessary to furnish a usable leased facility.
