Abadie, Contract Specialist, 202-690-7506 The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, in collaboration with the Administration for Children and Families in the Department of Health and Human Services, is planning to contract for evaluation of selected projects funded under the Welfare-to-Work (WtW) grants program. The purpose of this procurement is to design and conduct a multi-site evaluation that studies, in selected sites, the net impact and cost- effectiveness of programs designed to move hard-to-employ recipients into employment. The goal of the multi-site evaluation is to increase our knowledge about programs aimed at moving these recipients into unsubsidized employment. The procurement will include two options -- Option A for a Tribal WtW Evaluation and Option B for a Program Survey. The period of performance will be approximately three years.
