F -- FIRE LOOKOUT SERVICES SOL RFQ 98-114 DUE 032198 POC Contract Clerk (541) 383-5543 or FAX 541-383-5544 This project consists of lookout services to detect and report smokes or fires within and adjacent to the Deschutes National Forest, to monitor and forward radio messages, and if requested and required, take, record, and report weather conditions. Minor facilities maintenance may be performed by the Contractor using Government supplies and equipment. Work will be on the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District at East Butte and Spring Butte. Approximate dates are 05/22/98 through 10/31/98. This is for a one year contract but at the option of the Government it may be renewed for two more one year renewal periods. This is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. (0041)
