The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Region III, requires on-site health services for approximately 400 of its employees to be provided at the Public Ledger Builiding, 620 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106. Therefore, it is our intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Benjamin Franklin Center for Health (BFCH), located in the Public Ledger Building for the required services. The Benjamin Franklin Center for Health is the only vendor in the builiding. Health services are required on a full time basis to ensure that full health services would be provided to the employees and that health services be available should an emergency arise. The period of performance will be twelve (12) months. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested firms must submit clear and convincing data substantiating their capability to furnish this requirement within forty-five (45) days from the date of publication of this notice.
