Q -- RADIOLOGY TECHNICIANS AND BOARD CERTIFIED AND LICENSED RADIOLOGIST'S INTERPRETATIONS NEEDED. SOL RFP 597-ASC-44-98 DUE 022798 POC Bonnie Obermier, 308-382-3660 ext: 2383 Radiology Services and support is required for the beneficiaries of The Veterans Affairs Greater Nebraska Health Care System, 2201 North Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, Nebraska. The contractor shall read X-Ray films that have been produced by Certified Radiology Technicians and perform radiology examinations and interpretations that are required to be performed by Board Certified and Licensed Radiologist. These services shall be performed at the VA greater Nebraska Health Care System twice daily, mornings, between 8:00 am -- 10:00 am and afternoons, between 2:00 pm -- 4:00 pm. All dictation, written orders and/or documentation shall be completed within six (6) hours of exam/interpretations with the exception of evenings, weekends and Government Holidays. Normal VA work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. These services shall also be preformed at the Saint Francis Medical Center which provides acute inpatient care for the beneficiaries of the Veterans Affairs Greater Nebraska Health Care System. Saint Francis Medical Center is located approximately two miles from the Greater Nebraska Health Care System, in the same city. Contractor shall also provide ultrasound services by qualified ultrasonographer. These services shall be available at the Greater Nebraska Health Care System at least once daily. Ultrasound services shall also be available at the St. Francis Medical Center at least once daily. Offerors who have the qualifications and capability to provide quality medical care services, and who can meet the geographical considerations, shall submit a written request (No Phone Requests) for solicitation package to Bonnie Obermier, Greater Nebraska Health Care System, 2201 North Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, Nebraska.
