Reffner, Contract Specialist, (716) 879-4250 Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to construct West rubblemound breakwater of approximately 1400 feet and East rubblemound breakwater of approximately 250 feet with crest level of +10 ft. and crest width of 8.0 ft. Shore ends to tie to existing rubblemound dikes with navigation lites at the lakeward end of each. Partial excavation of existing jetty on the east side, removal of two existing sheetpile and timber pile breakwaters and removal of one utility pole. Dredging of a 70 to 100 ft. wide navigation channel to -4 low water datum (LWD), approximately 8,000 cubic yards of dredged material. Dredged material will be placed in the littoral system east of the project along the shoreline. Estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Period of performance is 300 calendar days.
