The contractor will furnish an estimated 1448 rods of barbed wire fence (4-wire), 30 each barbed wire end panel-type II, 14 each barbed wire stress panel, 2 each five post-barbed wire corner panel-type II, 14 each barbed wire gate (4-wire), 771 rods fence removal, 1 each complete 12 foot cattleguard assembly, 2 each concrete 12 foot cattleguard base. The contractor will have 50 days to complete the project after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The solicitation is a Request for Quotations and will be awarded on a purchase order approximately April 13, 1998. In accordance with Public Law 103-355 (FASA)for awarded contracts between $25,000 and $100,000, a 50% payment protection will be required in the form of: 1) an irrevocable letter of credit 2) payment bond 3) a certificate of deposit, will be required within 15 calendar days after receipt of notification of award.
