Schmidt (309) 782-3811 DESC: 2805-01-357-6566, Part Number 5-45-5302, The item to procure is an Engine Mod Kit consisting of a two cycle gas engine, which is source controlled to AMW Cayuna Engine Company, with a mounting frame and transformer. An additional quantity of the source controlled engine, PN 5-45-5295, will also be procured. Requirements are 380 each M17 Engine Mod Kit and 178 each additional Engines. For use on the M17 Lightweight Decontamination System. This solicitation is restricted to AMW Cuyuna Engine Co., 8 Schein Loop, Beaufort, SC 29902. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. FOB is Origin for Engine Mod Kits and Destination for Engines. Estimated issue date is 2 Mar 98. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY98 requirement. Contractor's are hereby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the technical data package, all contractors are required to execute a Nondisclosure Agreement binding contractors to the terms and conditions of the agreement.
