Device drivers must be compatible with MicroSoft Windows 95. Double monochromator configuration, each having 1/4 meter focal length, software controlled multiple grating turrets and equipped with PMT detector for range of 200-900 nm. Second monochromator must have two detection ports, allowing a choice between two detectors for the system with the contorl software. Ports to accommodate CCD, PMT and photodiode detectors. The operator must be able to choose between the detector ports using provided software, and the mirror which diverts the light between the two detection ports must be reproducible to at least 0.05 nm. Filter assembly to eliminate 2nd-order radiation from the gratings. Software to allow collection, printing and storage of each spectrum and comparison of multiple spectra. Must have choice of fixed slitwidths at the light entrance port, detector port and between the monochromators. RFQ will be issued on or about March 5, 1998 with a 4 week closing.
