B -- REGIONAL OFFICE WORKPLACE ASSESSMENT SOL 50-YABC-8-66006 POC Beth Brooks, 301-457-4421 The Bureau of the Census (BOC) intends to acquire on an other than full and open competition basis a workplace assessment study of the Bureau of the Census, Regional Offices located in Charlotte, NC and Philadelphia, PA. The purpose of the assessment is to conduct an analysis of the current workplace environment to identify current human resource diversity, and employee morale issues. It is the BOC's belief that Jane C. Edmonds & Associates, Inc., Boston, Massachusetts is the only company that can successfully provide this assessment. Jane C. Edmonds & Associates, Inc. has prior experience in conducting sensitive workplace assessment studies. Given their past knowledge and experience with diversity analysis in census regional offices, the Census Bureau removes the "learning curve" that would be required to bring another contractor up-to-speed with regional office diversity policies and procedures. All responsible sources capable of meeting this requirement are invited to respond to this announcement by submitting information that includes technical capabilities, pricing and any other information which demonstrates their ability to meet this need. This information will be considered only if it shows clear and convincing evidence of their ability to meet the requirement and that is considered advantageous to the Government. No solicitation document is available and telephone responses will not be honored. No contract will be awarded based on offer received in response to this notice.
