Guilfoil, Contracting Officer, Code HR-542, DOE Headquarters Procurement Services The Department of Energy (DOE) will issue a solicitation for a follow on award to System Technology Associates, Inc. (STA) of Colorado Springs, Co. for Petroleum Reservoir Engineering Support Services. STA is currently performing these services under Contract DE-AC01-96FE64221 which contract term will expire. These critical services are required in the continuation of DOE's ongoing efforts concerning equity finalization issues with Chevron U.S.A. for Naval Petroleum Reserve Numbered 1 (NPR-1). NPR-1 unit equity finalization is required between the DOE and Chevron U.S.A. in the completion of divestment activities for NPR-1 which was sold on February 5, 1998 to Occidental Petroleum. Under this contract, STA will complete ongoing studies and production zone computer modeling and perform other equity finalization studies/support concerning the Elk Hills California Reserve.
