Bodies Market survey/Sources sought to fabricate and deliver
approximately 8,000-10,000 each 105mm, High Fragmentation, M1-MOD
Bodies at a rate of 2,000 projectiles/month. Required initial delivery
date is 10 months after contract award. Firms with experience in
producing HF-l steel projectile bodies should provide, at no cost to
the government, a summary of their firms capabilities within fifteen
days of this publication. Information should include experience in
fabrication, inspection, test and necessary equipment, facilities,
tooling and materials (including packaging and palletization material).
Qualified sources must self facilitize and should possess the
capability and facility to forge heat treat, nose, swage, weld, machine
and inspect the HF M1 as well as the capacity to meet the required
schedule. Respondents to the notice will not be notified of the receipt
or the assessment of the information submitted. This market survey is
for informational purposes only, does not constitute an RFP, and is not
to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Submissions should
