This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Project is the purchase of three submersable electric sump pumps, with the following minimum specifications: (1) Pump, 6 inch, non clog type, sewage, submersable, able to pass up to 3 inch solids. (2) 6 inch- eight bolt outlet flange (3) 460 volts, 3 phase, 79 amps, 60 hp, 1750 rpm (4) 11 1/8 inch impeller, 450 gpm at 115' TDH, shut off head 174' (5) with 50 feet of 4 conductor cable (6) heat sensing thermostat with automatic restart (7) Seal failure probe. The F.E. Myers manufactured 6 inch pump, model number 6VC600M4- 43 is known to pass the above requirement. Any quotes of other models/types must be accompanied with technical literature for evaluation. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3561. For delivery FOB destination to Lackland AFB TX 78236, within 60 calendar days of award.
