This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA) and is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for CHILLED MIRROR HYGROMETER, 1 EA, WITH MIN RQMTS AS LISTED: A. MEASURE DEW/FROST POINT UTILIZING CHILLED MIRROR TECHNIQUE WITH CLOSED CYCLE CYRO-COOLER. (B) OPERATING RANGE OF -95 DEGREES C TO +30 DEGREES C. (C) ACCURACY OF A LEAST PLUS/MINUS 0.5 DEGREES C. (D) RESPONSE OF LESS THAN 5 SECONDS FOR DEW POINT AND LESS THAN 20 SECONDS FOR FROST POINT MEASUREMENTS. (I) OPERATE ON 115 VAC 60 HZ WITH POWER CONSUMPTION OF LESS THAN 100 WATTS. (M) SYSTEM FABRICATED TO WITHSTAND FLIGHT APPLICATIONS AT 35,000 FEET WITH TEST FLIGHT DATA. (N) PROVIDE TWO (2) SETS OF OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS WITH ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING SCHEMATIC AND ONE (1) SERVICE KIT. (O) PROVIDE ONE (1) DAY OF TRAINING AT MANUFACTURER S SITE. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 90-44 This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3829 and 500 respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All small responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above may be mailed or faxed to the identified point of contact and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
