S -- REFUSE COLLECTION FOR FORT LEWIS AND MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, WASHINGTON SOL DAKF57-98-B-0009 DUE 050198 POC Contract Specialist Olive M.Lenney 253-967-2151 ext 205 (Site Code DAKF57) Collection, transportation and disposal of all refuse at the installation areas defined in the schedule. The refuse consists of general household and yard waste, to include but not be limited to grass, clippings, roots, cardboard boxes or pieces thereof, cartons, plastic bags, bundled/tied and or loose newspapers, magazines, tree branches, etc. Waste may consist of but not be limited to, discarded furniture, Christmas trees, and other items of varying sizes and shapes. On an average the volume of refuse is equivalent to three and one half 32 gallon refuse containers per week from each of the quarters (3,591 quarters at Fort Lewis and 863 quarters at McChord). Some quarters generate more refuse and other quarters less. Contract period consists of Base Period (1 October 1998 through 30 September 1999) and three one-year option periods. This procurement will be issued as unrestricted. There will be a non-refundable charge for this solicitation package.
