The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to perform all operations in connection with the demolition, construction, and alterations to the Mississippi Air National Guard Aircraft Taxiway and Parking Apron at Key Field in Meridian, Mississippi. The project consists of two major components: 1) Demolition of existing PCC taxiway pavements, excavation and replacement of base soils, and replacing with AC pavement. 2) Replacement of joint sealant in existing PCC pavement, with necessary pavement repairs, to include spalls and corner breaks. One additive bid item consists of milling AC pavement, cleaning exposed PCC surface and overlaying with AC. Plans and specifications are not yet available. Constrution dollar range is between $250,000 to $500,000 under SIC 1611 (Highway and Street Construction, except Elevated Highways). When responding, indicate size status.
