on or about March 6, 1998 at 2:00 pm. Contractor shall provide all
labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal
necessary to perform roof inspections and maintenance including
locating/repairing roof leaks, removing/replacing damaged roofing
materials, repairing and/or providing new sheetmetal flashing, gutters
and downspouts, and performing emergency roof repairs. Work will be
performed on the following types of roofs: Built-up roof, gravel
surfaced; Built-up roof, smooth surface; Slate roof; Modified Bitumen
roof, smooth surface; Single-ply neoprene roof, ballasted; Single-ply
EPDM roof, ballasted; Single-ply PVC roof, fully adhered; Single-ply
PVC roof, ballasted; Metal roof, copper; Metal roof, galvanized; and,
asphalt and fiberglass shingles. Work is located at the U.S. Coast
Guard Academy, New London, CT (New London County). It is anticipated
that an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract will be
awarded with an estimated price range of $250,000 to $500,000
(inclusive of option periods). This project will be for a period of one
year from date of award, with 2 one (1) year option periods. SIC code

scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 1998 at the USCG Academy, 15 Mohegan
Ave., New London, Ct. this site visit is not mandatory but highly
recommended as this is the only organized walk-thru that will be
scheduled. This project is issued pursuant to the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is unrestricted. THE
