The work of this contract consists of the general construction of a new elevator penthouse on the roof, a new electric room in the basement, electrical feeds from electric room to penthouse, and three new elevators and machines, which includes new doors, frames, transomes and intermediate panels at each of the eleven floors, plus excavation in the hoistway to bring the #1 elevator landing down to the basement level. This solicitation is issued pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competetive Demonstration Program, and is open to all business concerns regardless of size.
