Pizarro, (315) 772-6510 (Site Code DAKF36) Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the repair of fire damage at the Mcgrath Field House, Building P-10040, Fort Drum, New York, in strict accordance with the statement of work, the specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Principal features: The work to be performed will include, but is not limited to the following items. (1) Clean and repaint block walls, concrete ceiling and reseal concrete floor. Clean the exterior split face block. (2) Remove and dispose of existing cabinets, lighting fixtures, man doors and roll up doors, electrical equipment, P.A. system, and all damaged wire from within rooms nearest junction point outside of fire damaged area. (3) Remove and dispose of back flow preventer and damaged gauges, all damaged water piping and insulation. (4) Remove and dispose of two unit heaters, and all associated materials. (5) Remove and replace the exterior HPS light. (6) Remove and replace lighting control contactors and switches. (7) Remove interior man door and close opening with concrete block. (8) Provide and install new exterior man doors and roll up doors. (9) Provide and install new interior fluorescent lighting fixtures. (10) Provide and install new power panels and step down transformer. Provide new conductors from interior of building to all points of initial termination outside of the fire area. (11) Provide and install new unit heaters, exhaust fans and other mechanical systems in the mechanical room and in the storage room. This procurement is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation is to be issued O/A 17 Mar 98. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.
