Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECTS MIDDLESEX-CENTRAL DISTRICT SOL 082530-98-A-0070 DUE 031898 POC Andrew Stein, Architect-Engineer (978) 664-7605 On or about Tuesday, February 17, 1998, the United States Postal Service, Windsor Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT will issue a solicitation for an indefinite quantity construction contract for roof replacement projects and related work for the Middlesex-Central District Office (State of Massachusetts, Middlesex, Essex, and Worcester Counties). Proposals are due on Wednesday, March 18, 1998 no later than 4:00 p.m. The terms of the contract will be for two years. Work will be defined on work orders issued, as required, for various amounts and types. Initial contract value is $200,000.00. Total contract value will not exceed $1,000,000.00 for two years. The Postal Service reserves the option to increase the potential value of the contract in increments of $200,000.00 not to exceed $1,000,000.00. Additional consent of surety will be required for each incremental increase. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHEDUNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT.
