Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a modification of a delivery order for Harpoon missiles and spare hardware items in accordance with approved Engineering Change Proposal 12304R1. This requirement includes the procurement of all related equipment, services, and documentation. NAVAIR intends to award this effort under Basic Order Agreement N00019-94-G-0125 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, P.O. Box 516, ST Louis, MO 63166-0516. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Justification: Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. McDonnell Douglas Corporation is the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the Harpoon missile and the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities and experienceto perform this effort within the required timeframe.
