Burks, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5021 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) plans to contract with K-Tech Corporation, Albuquerque, NM for further development to manufacture and field a validated debris mitigation system for soft x-ray testing. The goal of the effort will be to obtain the technical research necessary to model, design, fabricate, and field synchronizable untrafast closure debris mitigation systems to support soft x-ray tests over an increased fluence area. K-Tech will build from previous related contracts with this agency. DSWA believes that K-Tech is the only responsible source that has the experience in place to conduct the continuing effort in the time required. See Note 22.
