A -- EUROPEAN THEATER NUCLEAR FORCES IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM POC Timothy Houston, Negotiator, (703) 325-1469, Edward Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) has a requirement to provide research and development technical support to US European Command (USEUCOM), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), and other US/NATO commands. The focus of the support will be on improving the operational effectiveness, responsiveness, and survivability/security of theater forces supporting the deterrence of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) threats and/or attacks on NATO and the maintenance of the nuclear deterence component of the NATO Strategic Concept supported by USEUCOM, SHAPE and Supreme Allied Commander Atlantic (SACLANT).
