The goal of the RFI is to identify contractors who are interested in, and capable of, providing the services described in the RFI, and to determine the approximate price for those services. The two categories of work are Data Center Operations and Production Support. Data Center Operations includes maintenance of the CPU and peripheral equipment; operation of the claims processing system; system monitoring and optimization; maintenance of the production and test environments; disaster recovery tasks; and EDI transmissions. Production Support services include programming support for local coding changes to the claims processing system; periodic data file purges; ad-hoc reports; creation of magnetic tapes; and data file extracts.
