The Indian Health Service is soliciting proposals from interested physicians to provide professional healthcare services to eligible Native American Indian and Alaskan Natives who are Indian Health Service (IHS) Contract Health Service (CHS) beneficiaries. Services to be provided in Contractor's facilities or hospitals where physicians have staff privileges. In accordance with the IHS Payment Policy, IHS will contract only with those providers who will accept, as payment in full, reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevailing Medicare allowable rates (including deductible and co-payments). Proposals under this solicitation will be considered through March 31, 1999. Anticipated issue date is February 13, 1998. Multiple awards will be made for a twelve-month period with four (4) one year options periods. (0044)
