S -- -NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AWARD WITH BATTELLE SEATTLE RESEARCH CENTER. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract award with Battelle Seattle Research Center (Battelle). NOAA's Pacific Coast Program, in partnershp with NOAA's Coastal Services Center, is working with national-level researcher panels to develop information tools to address impacts of coastal hazards. Pacific Coast Program's mission is to provide coastal decision makers with information and the Center's mission is to improve coastal ecosystem health and economic prosperity by developing and providing improved coastal management techniques and sustainable coastal development practices. Both agencies have identified Battelle as the sole source of required economic reseach and analysis to review the status of information on the resource economic impacts of coastal hazards.
