U -- OPERATION OF GRADUATE LEVEL RESIDENCE CENTER AT EGLIN AFB FL SOL F08651-98-D-0021 DUE 030998 POC Contract Alice Buckley, Contract Specialist at 850-882-4802 extension 5261; Rickey Dean, Contracting Officer Sole Source Acquisition is contemplated to the University of Florida, Gainesville FL., for additional work to current sole source firm fixed price contract for operation of a Graduate Level Residence Center at Eglin AFB FL. Operation shall consist of course work, counseling and supervision of theses as necessary for Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, and Engineering Mechanics. A minimum of 52 courses are to be provided in the 1998-2000 academic years (Option 3 and 4). A firm fixed price contract was negotiated under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 (services available from only one source) and two additional years will be negotiated under contract F08651-95-D-0021, unless responses to this notice reveal additional sources capable of satisfying the requirement. Interested sources must submit clear and convincing documentation, that clearly demonstrates their capability to meet the Government's requirement. Such statements of capability should include evidence of Masters and Ph.D. degree programs in the areas listed. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
