DESCRIPTION should read: 17(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.!! 17(ii)This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation #1448-20181-98-Q021.!! 17(iii)This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-01.!! 17(iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. SIC code: 5271.!! 17(v) There is one line item: CLIN 0001, Mobile Home, 16' x 80', including installation and trade-in and removal of existing 14' x72' mobile home.!! 17(vi) (1) Background: Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge requires a new 16' x 80' mobile home including set-up and the complete removal of an existing 14' x 72' mobile home. Specific Requirements: A new, 16' x 80' mobile home, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Roof: composition shingle. Exterior: Hardipanel (or equal) with double-pane storm windows. Walls: 2" x 4" on 16" centers. Floor Joists: 2" x 8" on 16" centers. Floor: 3/4" tongue and groove plywood. Interior walls: sheetrock with vinyl covering. Insulation: Roof: R21; Sidewalls: R11; Floor: R11. Heat/Air: 4 ton electric central heat and air conditioning. Water heater: 30 gallon electric. Electricity: 200 amps at electric entrance. Utility room will include electric washer and dryer hook-ups. Floor covering: Carpeting (living room, bedrooms, dining room, and closets): 20 ounce or better, stain-resistant nylon that conforms to HUD specifications; Vinyl (kitchen, baths, and utility room): Congoleum or equal conforming to HUD specifications. Vendor is required to submit a floor plan with quote indicating utility connection points. Quote will also include at least 3 color schemes fromwhich to make a selection. Vendor will provide written copies of all warranties pertaining to the mobile home, including appliances. Vendor will be required to deliver and set-up mobile home including leveling, blocking in place and tie-down. Vendor will not be required to remove wheels and axles. The Refuge will be responsible for connecting utilities and for the skirting required for the new mobile home. Purchase of new mobile home includes trade-in and removal of existing 1983 Skyline mobile home, 14' x 72'. Vendor is responsible for removing brick surrounding base of mobile home, disconnecting utilities, supplying and installing wheels and tires, and any other items required to remove existing mobile home.
