NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT. The U.S. Department of State intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with the Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC); Minneapolis, Minnesota to upgrade the MCC's voice communications system during the 1998 International Telecommunications Union's Plenipotentiary (ITU) Conference to be held in October, 1998. The ITU meetings will be held daily at the MCC facility or approximately one month. The City of Minneapolis is providing the MCC facility. No other source can provide to this facility the voice communications equipment, supplies, software, etc. (0049)
