842-6785 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
contemplates awarding a contract for collection of data for mammography
rescreening rates and factors that put women at risk for failure to
rescreen on schedule. The successful contractor will be responsible for
completing the following tasks: Establishing a Coordinating Center that
will design and implement study procedures that insure identical
sampling, subject recruitment, and data collection across the four
participating states; development and implementation of plans to
approach and interview each study participant at the appropriate time;
sampling, locating, and enrolling study participants; collecting
mammography report data; collecting and recording data on conduct of
the study; completing validation substudies to enhance the accuracy of
reported rescreening rates and assess generalizability of the
findings; providing extensive protocol and database documentation; and
provision of various data deliverables in a timely manner related to
the work performed. The anticipated performance period is 42 months.
Requests for the solicitation will be filled on a limited
first-come-first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. The date
specified for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days after the
RFP issue date. Requests for the RFP must specify the RFP No.
